Greek Super League side PAOK FC have secured the signing of promising Nigerian left-back Haruna Saleh, adding fresh talent to their defensive ranks.

The 19-year-old defender arrives from Unique Football Academy, having caught the attention of PAOK scouts during a showcase event in Lagos last year. He has signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with the option to extend for an additional season.

Saleh’s move to PAOK marks a significant step in his young career, as he is set to train with the club’s first team. His transition to European football highlights the growing influence of Nigerian academies in developing talents for top leagues abroad.

PAOK has previously welcomed Nigerian players, including Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong, further solidifying the club’s connection with Nigerian football.
