he National Identity Management Commission has warned the public to be ware of extortion in the name of Modification of Records on part of applicants.
NIMIC revealed that Requests regarding possible Modification of Records relating to Bio-data of Applicants on previous enrollment can only be done at NIMC enrollment center and all forms of modifications can only be made in person not by proxy or other means.
NIMC took to their website to make this announcement while also adding that all processing fee payment are to be done through the NIMC remita platform.
” we also wish to notify that local front end partners/ vendors are not licensed to carry out modification services, please be guided accordingly do not give in to extortion.”
