Olufemi Soneye, the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, has officially stepped down from his role.
Soneye noted that the move would allow him to spend more time with his family and focus on personal matters that demands his closer attention.
He made the disclosure in a statement,
citing personal reason for his decision to leave the national oil company.
In his words , he said “It has been a profound honour to serve both the Company and our country, and to contribute in my own way to the ongoing transformation of NNPC Ltd.”
“I am deeply grateful for the trust reposed in me, the opportunities granted, and the incredible professionals both within and outside the organization with whom I have worked.”
He also commended his colleagues for their support during his tenure.
