National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted Kogi State Government license to establish the third state-owned university to be known as Kogi State University, Kabba.
According to a statement read by Governor Yahaya Bello at the NUC in Abuja, said the State House of Assembly last Thursday passed a bill to establish a third state-owned University to be sited in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of the state.
The state had earlier inaugurated an implementation committee, chaired by Emeritus Professor of English Language, Olu Obafemi.
