Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has reassured fans of his well-being after surviving a serious car accident.
The 31-year-old artist, who is known for his energetic style and bold lyrics, took to social media on Tuesday to confirm that he made it out of the crash with minor injuries.
Sharing images of his wrecked vehicle and himself in a hospital bed, Odumodublvck expressed gratitude for surviving the accident. The crash, which involved a head-on collision, left the front of his car badly damaged. While details about whether he was alone in the vehicle remain unclear, the rapper emphasized that he was focused on recovery and his upcoming projects.
“SURVIVED. THE MACHINE MUST ARRIVE IN ONE PIECE. IT IS A MUST. THE MACHINE IS COMING,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter), suggesting that the incident would not derail his plans.
Odumodublvck has been a dominant force in Nigeria’s music scene, blending hip-hop, grime, and Afrobeats. His 2022 hit Picanto featuring Zlatan and Ecko Miles put him on the map, and in 2023, he signed with NATIVE Records under Def Jam Recordings, releasing the critically acclaimed EZIOKWU mixtape.
Despite the setback, his message to fans signals his resilience and determination to continue his musical journey.
