The Oodua Integrity Group has called on the Inspector General of Police to investigate an alleged cyber bullying of Chief Kingsley Okechukwu Chukwukeme the Chief Executive Officer of Nwaguatahihia properties and homes limited.
The Acting Deputy Coordinator of the group, Lukman Suraj made this known during a media briefing.
He emphasized that the tagging of Chief Kingsley as land grabber has not only dented his image, but as well created distrust between him and his clients. “They had earlier paid for his properties and as a result of the bullying asked for refunds of their earlier deposited funds.”
The group is urging the Inspector General of Police to investigate the action without fear or favour.
“The victim came all the way from the United States to invest in Nigerian economy and has a clean record of business.
” For a person to tag him criminal is not only detrimental but absurd. We want the alleged suspect to be brought to book.
He has severally connived with some officers of the Inspector General of Police monitoring squad to take away the case file from Anambra Police Command and also severally intimidated workers at the site.
” We want to welcome the IG and implore him as promised to end impunity in the force.”
