A patriotic constituent of the Yobe south senatorial District Yakubu Mohammed Babayo has described as laughable and imagination a recent call by some unknown constituents of Yobe south of senator Ibrahim Bomoi from the national assembly.
I am a political player and ardent member of Yobe south senatorial District and so far senator Bomoi has delivered democracy dividends in different facets. The motive is not unconnected with the push on Senator Bomoi to come out and contest the governorship seat of Yobe state in 2027.
The attempt is sponsored by some unscrupulous elements whose antics is self capacitation and not community development which Bomoi is known for. His stewardship still ongoing has been laudable and tremendous with delivery of constituency projects,human capacity building,empowerment and all inclusiveness.
Recall occurs when a lawmaker in either the lower chamber or upper chamber has not performed but in Bomoi’s case he is not found wanting in project delivery, interaction and delivery of services so why? We urge bonafide members of the Yobe south senatorial District to disregard this selfish intrusion and call in the interest of development and quality representation Yakubu added.
Senator Bomoi is also the chairman of senate committee on fct and has not disconnected with Yobe south residents in fct and at home.
