Against the earlier reported cases of alleged 32 milion naira the Arewa youths for peace and security head of investigation Zainab Usman issued press statement citing poor investigation, the leader of the group Salihu Dantata Mahmud has apologized to the chairman and management of the police service commission after paying a personal visit to seek detailed clarification on the matter.
The fact of the matter remains as in further investigation there are more to it. Salihu called for balancing of press statements before issuing it out to the media as this one has caused embarrassment for the group.

The PSC chairman confirmed to AYPAS boss that the officers in question actually committed the crime by acting against their rules of engagement. AYPAS assures the PSC of cooperation and support in achieving their constitutional roles
