Former Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani, has reacted to the protest in Niger state on Monday by women and youth stating that the protest was a message for President Bola Tinubu-led administration.
Relaying his message via his X account former senator sani said that the protest was a call for immediate impactful measures to address the epidemic poverty in the country.
He wrote, “The peaceful demonstration is within the scope of the rights of the citizens, The protest in Minna, Niger State against the high cost of living falls within the ambit of the right to peaceful dissent.
“The protest is simply a message and a call for immediate and impactful measures to address the problems of the epidemic of poverty in the country”, he said.
