Teenager brutalized, Locked in Dog Cage for Visiting Female Classmate

A 17-year-old student, Samuel Onyeme, was severely injured after he was allegedly beaten and locked inside a dog cage  for visiting his female classmate, Anastasia Celestine.

The incident  took place  In Asaba, Delta State  on Sunday around 6 pm.

It was reported that Samuel  visited female classmate Anastasia Celestine at her residence, Mr. Celestine and his sons allegedly assaulted Samuel, locked him in a dog cage

The victim’s mother, Mrs. Onyeme, was called and upon her arrival she was deceived and detained for 2 hours before the police intervened .

“My son was brutally assaulted by Mr. Celestine and his two sons… They used wooden planks and locked him inside a dog cage,” Samuel’s mother, Mrs. Onyeme, stated

Human rights activist, Victor Ojei, described the act as “barbaric and inhumane,” demanding immediate investigation and prosecution of Mr. Celestine and his sons for kidnapping, unlawful detention, assault, and attempted murder.

Samuel, a student of Redeemers International High School, is currently receiving treatment Asaba Specialist Hospital for physical and psychological injuries.

“I Thought I Was Going to Die” – Samuel Onyeme stated.

Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, said he hadn’t received the report as of filing time.
