Tinubu Administration Has Outperformed All Past Governments in Two Years —Presidency

The Presidency has declared that the Tinubu administration, within just two years in office, has outperformed all previous governments including the 16-year rule of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in terms of achievements and governance records.

The presidential adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga made this statement on his X handle while reacting to the recent achievements of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) under the Tinubu-led administration.

He wrote: “The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), a regulatory agency in the energy sector, has reported remarkable progress under President Bola Tinubu, the leader whom the misguided, anti-progress elements in the so-called coalition of hate want to remove from office. “

Citing the commission’s 2024 performance report, Onanuga noted that revenue rose sharply from ₦4.3 trillion in 2023 to ₦12.2 trillion in 2024 — marking a 176.7% increase under the leadership of Engr. Gbenga Komolafe.

“This success is not isolated,” Onanuga added. “Agencies like the NNPC and the Nigeria Revenue Service have also posted record results in recent months. These achievements demonstrate that the Tinubu administration is making progress, as it is delivering tangible results in key sectors.”

He condemned recent calls for political change, describing such groups as “united by hate” and “consigned to political wilderness.”

“I urge Nigerians not to be fooled. Verify the facts and make informed decisions about the country’s future. The facts are clear: in two years, the Tinubu administration has beaten the records of all previous governments, including 16 years of PDP in power,” Onanuga stated.
