A town planner identified as Sodiq Soso Yekini from Kaiama local government of Kwara State sold a land which allegedly belong to the magistrate court in the town to one Yakubu Abubakar Bio of Shigberiya in the suburbs of Kaiama in Kaiama local government of Kwara state at the sum of four million, six hundred thousand naira with documents.
After Bio discovered that he has been duped after the court commenced erecting buildings on the land.
However, he approached the town planner Sodiq Soso Yekini to inquire why the sudden building by the court, Yekini response was not defensive enough which prompted Bio to confide in some residents who disclosed to him that the land in question actually belongs to the magistrate court.
Further interrogation by Yakubu, revealed that he carried out his scam with the connivance of a former judge of the court who Yekini claimed gave him the land to sell.
Mallam Yakubu Abubakar Bio is already petitioning the DSS and other security agencies to take action inorder to get refund of his money.
