The Uganda and Kenya Educational Authorities has reached out to the Nigerian Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to request for the Verification authenticity of records submitted by Nigerian students seeking admission into their universities.
This was revealed in a document recently released by JAMB titled “Registrar’s Report on 2023 Admission & 2024 UTME Policy Meeting,”
The Education Board further explained that it would not falsify any student records. “Examination boards in Uganda and Kenya are now contacting JAMB to confirm records submitted by candidates for admission. We will not alter any records,”
Recall that JAMB had earlier urged all institutions to regularly submit their matriculation lists to the Federal Ministry of Education within three months after their matriculation ceremonies. These lists should be submitted through JAMB’s dedicated channels.
