The North Central awakening group after the Mahmuda terror group took advantage of the dilapidated nature of Kaiama and Baruten roads to attack villages like Kemanji, Nuku, Nanu and others have recalled a statement credited to minister of state for works barrister Bello Mohammed Goronyo that part of the four legacy points of Mr President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to deliver good roads across the six geopolitical zones is borne out of his desire to tackle insecurity because sometimes the bad nature of roads makes it easy for kidnappers to lay siege on roads and kidnap, bandits to Bloch the bad portions and carryout their nefarious activities.
The Spokesperson of the group Usman Woru made this known during a submission of state of insecurity to some top security echelons in Abuja.
“We thank God that the Kaiama Kishi road rehabilitation by the federal government commenced under the Tinubu administration which demonstrated his fulfilling of the promises made on his renewed hope agenda for infrastructural facelift. We hail Goronyo for such enlightenment and we are supportive of the Tinubu administration no matter what anyone says.
“The major local governments in Niger and Kwara states are APC local government full force. We pledge our dedication and allegiance to the Tinubu administration. We also want to appreciate the Kwara state governor who has outside his tight schedules visited Kaiama today after the salute Nigeria initiative and the northern youth empowerment and enlightenment forum posted the insecurity in Kaiama and Baruten local governments.”Usman Woru said
The group also appealed to President Tinubu to reaward the Kainji Kaiama road abandoned for years as some of the bandits are also using that deprivation to cause havoc.
