The All Progressives Congress (APC) is deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Tunde Oladunjoye, the Ogun State Publicity Secretary of the Party.
He died on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the age of 58, while receiving medical treatment in the United Kingdom .
Oladunjoye was a seasoned communicator, savvy administrator, and effective grassroots mobilizer. He served as Chairman of Ijebu East Local Government Area before becoming the Spokesman of Ogun state APC. His work as Spokesman and communications consultant to the state government helped bridge the information gap and fostered improved public awareness of policies and programs.
In a statement released by National Publicity Secretary of APC Felix Morka
“We extend our deepest condolences to his immediate family, Governor Dapo Abiodun, the entire Ogun APC family, and the Conference of APC Publicity Secretaries (CAPS) over this devastating loss,”
Governor Dapo Abiodun described Oladunjoye’s death as a “terrible and devastating loss,” praising his dedication and contributions to the party and state government.
“We pray Almighty Allah to grant the late Oladunjoye Jannatul Firdaus,” Morka added, reflecting the party’s commitment to upholding Oladunjoye’s legacy.
The Ogun State chapter of APC has also been thrown into mourning, with the State Chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi, describing Oladunjoye as a dedicated, pragmatic, and loyal party man.
