The demise of retired staff sergeant Garba Gambo has been described as a rude shock and a great loss to Nigeria.
The Secretary General of AYPAS, Comrade Salihu Dantata Mahmud stated this in Abuja while reacting to the death of Staff sergeant Garba Gambo.
The brave Army officer served Nigeria meritoriously in different military formations across the country. He served at the Nigeria military school Zaria,Janguza cantonment in Kano and as well participated at the military field base in Bakassi when Cameroon annexed part of Nigeria.
” Our condolences goes to the Army authorities,his family as well as colleagues they served in the Army together. We pray to Allah to grant him eternal rest. Nigeria has lost a rare gem.
He is survived by wife, children and grandchildren. Amongst who are Mustapha, ,Ibrahim,Mariam,Rabi and Aisha. Also survived by grandchildren amongst who is Salihu Mahmud Salihu of the faculty of international relations northwest university Kano.
