More than 500 adolescent girls in Samban Gida community, Jaba Local Government Area of Kaduna State, now have access to sanitary pads and menstrual hygiene education, following a joint humanitarian outreach by the Caleb Danladi Foundation and the Njoh Suzzane Foundation.
The intervention, which also targeted widows and orphans, seeks to tackle school absenteeism linked to poor menstrual health management while promoting dignity and proper health practices among young girls in the area.
The session was enriched by a presentation from the guest speaker, Mrs. Hadiza Yem, who emphasized the importance of menstrual hygiene, self-confidence, and dignity among adolescent girls.

In a related outreach, the foundations extended support to over 200 widows and orphans at the Pillars of Hope Foundation in Kwoi.
The intervention included the donation of 70 bags of rice, cash support, and other essential food items aimed at alleviating economic hardship and improving their wellbeing.
The Founder of Pillars of Hope Foundation, Mama Mrs. Kato, expressed deep appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful for both the widows and the children under their care.
