The President of the Directorate of Road Traffic Services, DRTS, Cooperative Society, Iliya Babandi, has assured members of his commitment to their welfare and to responding promptly to their demands.
Babandi gave the assurance during a media interaction in Abuja.
According to him, the DRTS cooperative society will witness significant improvements that will satisfy members’ interests, adding that public interest will remain above personal interest.
“Since our election, my team and I have done a lot in line with our mandate to put smiles on the faces of members. In this difficult economy, the role of our cooperative is paramount and necessary for members’ welfare,” he said.
Babandi noted that the cooperative has maintained a cordial relationship with the leadership of the DRTS, as well as a good working relationship with members of his executive committee.
He further disclosed that he has opened discussions with the President of the Federal Cooperative Society to explore areas of cooperation.
The DRTS Cooperative President also stressed that leadership of a cooperative society requires patience and discretion.
