The Ekiti state chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, Paul Omotoso has passed away. This happened in the early hours of Today 6th March, 2024. After a brief illness.
As of the time this report was filed the cause of his death is still unsure.
It was said that the chairman has been really down with sickness since he was kidnapped and released in July 2023.
The late chairman was kidnapped in July 2023 and was released after five days.
Omotoso was said to have complained of feeling unwell on Tuesday, which caused him to be rushed to a government hospital in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, where he later died.
The publicity secretary of the party in the state, Segun Dipe ascertain to the incident but could not give further explanation as to the cause of Omotoso’s death or where his body was deposited.
