Faduri Oluwadare Joseph, a U.S.-based entrepreneur and nurse, has thrown his hat into the ring for Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election, promising to end the culture of medical tourism among public officials.
He vowed that no government official, would seek treatment abroad at taxpayers’ expense
Faduri, is contesting under the National Rescue Movement (NRM) party, which is symbolized by the honeybee.
He made the disclosure at a press conference in Abuja.
According to him, Nigeria is standing at a defining moment in it’s history.
He framed the 2027 election as a choice between the people and entrenched political interests,
Faduri said years of corruption, insecurity, economic hardship and weak institutions have pushed the nation to the brink, stressing that bold and people-focused leadership is urgently needed.
The Osun State-born sociologist, who lost both parents early in life, described his personal journey as proof that resilience and determination can overcome adversity.
Faduri outlined plans to fix power supply, revive local refineries, rebuild the economy, reform education, strengthen healthcare, and reinforce security.
He is a former Labour Party presidential aspirant and the CEO of Airplanet Group USA.
