Their enthusiasm set the tone for his new chapter in Turkey, and he responded in kind. Wasting no time, Osimhen made a symbolic gesture by updating his social media presence—removing all references to Napoli and proudly adopting the colors and identity of his new club. His bio now reflects his dual allegiance: Galatasaray and the Nigerian national team.

In a recent interview with TuttoSport, Osimhen opened up about how he’s finding life in Istanbul.
He said, “Istanbul is incredible. It’s a very big city; I didn’t know that. The most important thing is Galatasaray; the fans make this city great, which is fantastic for me, my family, and my friends.
“I’m very happy; it’s one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I was very excited for my first match. When I entered the pitch for the first time for the warm-up, all the fans started shouting my name and applauding. This made me feel at home; I feel very good when I see their support.”
