Iranian Official claims 2 pregnant women, 13 children killed

A senior Iranian official, Dr. Hossein Kermanpour, has raised alarm over the growing civilian casualties amidst 

Israel’s ongoing military actions, claiming that dozens of women and children have been killed since the start of the conflict.

In a post on his verified X account, Kermanpour stated,”Since the start of Israel’s war against our nation, 163 women have been injured, and 44 women have been martyred two of whom were pregnant mothers who lost their lives along with their unborn children.”

He further claimed that “among the war’s martyrs are 13 children, the youngest of whom was just two months old.”Kermanpour highlighted the plight of the youngest known survivor a four-year old currently battling for life in the ICU with 50% burns.

He added that the child’s mother, “Dr. Rasouli, was an obstetrician-gynecologist, while the father and two-month-old sister were also martyred.”

He  called  for international attention to what he describes as indiscriminate violence.
