JAMB: Nnewi indigene emerges best overall candidate in 2023 UTME

Joy Mmesoma Ejikeme, a student at the Anglican Girls Secondary School Nnewi (AGSS), has emerged the overall best student in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME organized by Joint Admission Matriculation Board with an aggregate score of 362 .

 

She received the following grades: Chemistry -81, Biology -94, Physics -89, and Use of English -98.

 

Following the outstanding performance, Prof Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, the Commissioner of Education for Anambra State, praised Ms. Ejikeme’s extraordinary achievement, calling it “excellent and very outstanding.”

 

According to the Commissioner, success has once again shown how much the government of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has invested in and prioritized the State’s educational system.

 

“This outstanding performance of Ejikeme has indeed brought joy and happiness to every Ndi-Anambra. We are proud of her and we will monitor her academic progression as she pursues whatever career she desires”
