The Nigeria Customs Has Initiated A Nationwide Sale Of Seized Items, With 25kg Bag Of Rice Being Auctioned At The Price Rate Of N10,000.
The Comptroller General of custom, Adewale Adeniyi declared that the seized food items will be distributed on Friday 23rd February 2023.
He disclosed that the distributed seized food items are not for sale only the rice that come in 25kg , will be sold for N10,000
He added that custom personnel’s were banned from partaking in the distribution.
Adeniyi further added that the requirement is the Nigerian Identification Number.
“ The target groups included Artisans, teachers , nurses , religious bodies, and other Nigerians within our operational areas.
The intention is to reach out directly to members through organized structures to ensure the maximum impact of this experience “, he stated.
He said NCS wouid not hesitate to take decisive action against any individuals or entities found to be in violation of the terms of this program.
