The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has cautioned against the misconduct and unwanted socialization of corp members and camp officials,
The Kastina state nysc coordinator Hajiya Aisha Mohammed, on Thursday cautioned the official about unwanted socialization with corp members while addressing the personnel preparatory to the 2024 Batch ‘A’ Stream I Orientation exercise, emphasizing that officials are expected to set an example for the young ones to emulate by being disciplined at all times during the exercise.
She said, “Personnel should put in their best and adhere strictly to the rules and regulations governing the conduct of the orientation course, according a warm reception to the prospective corps members when they arrived at the camp.
“Working in synergy will make the corps members borrow a leaf from them and participate actively in all camp activities,”
“The pre-camp meeting with all collaborating agencies was an avenue to critically preview the camp and map out strategies for a successful orientation exercise devoid of hitches.”
She further impelled security personnel deployed for the exercise to work in synergy to forestall unpleasant circumstances.
The camp director, Mr. Allen Charles-Chisom, also invited the cooperation of the personnel to facilitate a hitch-free exercise.
