- Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has passed away on Wednesday at 67.
Akeredolu who was said to be suffering from cancer, had been going to Germany to treat the ailment.
Recall that Akeredolu notified the State House of Assembly that he will be embarking on medical leave as a follow-up to his treatment.
Akeredolu’s Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde, disclosed that the governor would be transferring power to his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, to lead the affairs of the state in his absent.
