Reacting to a viral video depicting a sexual encounter, Senator Ishaku Abbo has attributed it to a political opponents, calling it “timid blackmail, saying no amount of blackmail can stop him from winning elections.
The video, which surfaced last week, shows a man engaging in sexual activity with a woman, but the man’s face is not visible, Abbo said “Blackmail cannot stop me from winning elections. My people love me. No amount of blackmail can stop me.”
Abbo, who has faced controversy in the past, including an incident in 2020 where he attacked a breastfeeding mother in a sex toy shop, denied being the man in the video.
“How can you identify a person without seeing his face, his body, only parts of his legs and say it is Senator Abbo?” he said during a press conference.
The senator also threatened legal action against those responsible for circulating the video and attempting to tarnish his reputation. He emphasized that the allegations would not deter his supporters, citing his performance while in office.
Abbo referenced a similar incident involving another senator, saying, “A senator from one of the northern states was shown in a sex video with his entire body, but he still won an election to the Senate, and his wife won an election to the House of Representatives.”
It is essential to note that the allegations against Senator Abbo have not been substantiated by credible sources, and he has not been convicted of any wrongdoing.
