Adesola Akeem, husband of popular social media personality Eniola Fagbemi, widely known as Sisi Alagbo, has issued a public apology following the circulation of a leaked intimate video involving himself, his wife and another woman.
The video, which surfaced on Monday, quickly spread across WhatsApp groups, Telegram channels, and later to blogs and social media platforms, sparking widespread reactions online. Its origin remains unclear.
In a statement shared on his Facebook page on Thursday, Akeem accepted responsibility for the incident and expressed regret over the backlash it generated.
“I take full responsibility for my actions and deeply regret the embarrassment and disappointment this has caused,” he stated, extending apologies to his family, associates, supporters, and the general public.
He acknowledged that his actions fell short of expectations and said the situation had prompted a period of reflection. He also pledged to make better choices and rebuild trust moving forward.
“I am committed to rebuilding trust and maintaining integrity in both my private and public life,” he added.
Earlier, Fagbemi had also apologised to her followers, admitting fault and expressing distress over the incident.
“I sincerely apologise for the video circulating online. I take responsibility for my actions,” she wrote, noting the emotional toll the situation has had on her.
