President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda, stressing that no region of Nigeria will be left behind in the delivery of infrastructure and development projects.
In a statement issued on his X handle, Tinubu said his oath of office guides every bridge, road, rail, power, and health project currently being executed across the country.
“I took an oath to serve all Nigerians, not a section. That oath guides every bridge, road, rail, power, and health project we deliver,” the president said.
He listed key ongoing projects, including the Lagos–Calabar Highway in the South, the Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway in the North, the Port Harcourt–Maiduguri rail in the East, and the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano expressway in the Centre.
Tinubu also noted progress on the Trans-Saharan Highway, which links Nigeria to other African countries.
According to him, the administration is rehabilitating health centres nationwide, approving light rail projects in Kano, Kaduna, Lagos and Ogun, creating 250,000 jobs, and reviving the 255MW power plant in Kaduna.
He further mentioned the construction of bridges in Onitsha and Bonny, oil exploration in Bauchi and Gombe, and the advancement of the AKK pipeline which has now crossed the River Niger.
“Every farmer who needs a road, every trader who needs power, every child who needs a school, every patient who needs care… this is who we are building for,” Tinubu said.
He assured Nigerians that the Renewed Hope Agenda is anchored on equity and inclusivity. “No Nigerian is second class, no region is left behind. Together we will rise as one nation, one people, and one destiny.”
