President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced plans to visit Benue State on Wednesday to sympathize with victims of the recent violent attacks and their families.
The President made this known during the commissioning of the Greater Abuja Water Supply Network along Airport Road in the Federal Capital Territory.
While addressing guests at the event, President Tinubu led a moment of silence in honour of those who lost their lives in the tragic incidents and expressed his heartfelt condolences to the affected communities.
“While I sympathise with the people of Benue, I’ve spoken to the governor. The leadership of Benue should accept our condolences and try hard—very consciously—to maintain peace and harmony among themselves.
“ We are a huge family living in the same house, staying in different rooms, but living together in harmony,” Tinubu said.
