Sam Empowerment Foundation donates 10 oxygen cylinders to National Hospital

The Founder of Sam Empower Foundation (SEF), Dr. Aisha Achimugu, has donated 10 oxygen cylinders to the National Hospital to commemorate  her 52nd  birthday celebration in Abuja.
The donation, made through the Foundation’s Breath for Life Project, also covered outstanding medical bills for underprivileged patients and included the distribution of essential support items to some hospital in-patients.
Dr. Achimugu called on the leadership of our country to prioritize health care sector.
The Foundation also  promised to donate 10 oxygen cylinders on a monthly basis to improve health care services delivery  in the hospital.
The Chief Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC) of the hospital, Dr. Isiaka Lawal, who represented the Chief Medical Director (CMD), Prof. Muhammad Raji Mahmud, described the intervention as “a major relief at a very critical time.”
He added: “Oxygen is life. Many of our patients cannot even afford basic medications, not to mention oxygen. This donation is a major relief at a very critical time.”
