The National Hospital Abuja has achieved remarkable milestone in its 25 year journey, and highlighted the hospital’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the medical sector in Nigeria.
The Chief Medical Director of National Hospital Abuja, Professor Mohammad Raji Mahmud, made the disclosure during the unveiling of the Silver Jubilee celebration logo week at the National Hospital Abuja.
He said the National Hospital Abuja has introduced groundbreaking medical initiatives such as Invitro Fertilization (IVF) and digital recording of patient records.
According to him, the hospital has made advancements which have significantly improved patient care and data management.
“We have been instrumental in implementing cutting-edge digital solutions, including the digital recording of patient data. The innovation has significantly improved the efficiency and accuracy of patient data management.
“The hospital’s commitment to innovation and excellence has earned it a reputation as a premier healthcare institution in Nigeria. Its contributions to advancing medical care and technology have had a profound impact on the healthcare landscape in the country.”
The Chief Medical Director highlighted that the National hospital started as a mandate for women and children hospital but subsequently the mandate has widen to involve all gender, all ages, and all sort of ailments.
CMD even noted that the hospital management has also engaged in series of Corporate Social Responsibility by supporting indigenous patients.
“We have waved a huge amount from inception up till today and will still do for patients that are indigenous and are not able to afford the services of the hospital.
The hospital has put smile on millions of faces of people who has lost hope regarding their health, and we will continue to render support in our own little way “, he said.
Alhaji Hamza Sakwa, former Chairman of the Board of Trustees at National Hospital Abuja, has commended the hospital’s staff for their exceptional service to patients. According to Sakwa, the staff’s dedication to delivering top-notch care has been outstanding. This praise comes as the hospital celebrates its Silver Jubilee, marking 25 years of providing quality healthcare services to Nigerians.
